Susanna Magistretti wins Yves Rocher Foundation prize

Il premio Terre de Femmes indetto dalla Fondazione Yves Rocher - Institut de France sostiene da oltre 16 anni a livello mondiale donne forti che operano a tutela dell'ambiente.  In Italia il premio (10 mila euro) è giunto alla seconda edizione: 53 i dossier arrivati, 5 progetti finalisti, uno il vincitore. Se lo è aggiudicato a dicembre Susanna Magistretti con Cascina Bollate - La Natura Entra in Carcere che coniuga solidarietà e ambiente.
Nel vivaio di Susanna i detenuti imparano sul campo un mestiere che permetterà loro di inserirsi nuovamente nel mondo del lavoro una volta tornati in libertà. Secondo le statistiche, la recidiva scende dall’80% al 15% quando i detenuti imparano una professione in carcere.

Quest'anno la fondazione Yves Rocher ha deciso di donare un "coup de coeur" ad un altro progetto risultato particolarmente meritevole, BeatingSea - Nel Cuore del Mare di Luana Papetti. Il progetto coniuga la tutela dell'ambiente e l'amore per una specie animale ormai da salvaguardare, le tartarughe marine.

Dall'8 marzo al 4 aprile 2018 si potrà votare online sul sito della Fondazione Yves Rocher per il premio pubblico cui concorrono le vincitrici di tutti i paesi partecipanti (www.yves-rocher-fondation.org).  E il 5 aprile 2018 avrà luogo il Gran Premio Internazionale a Parigi con la selezione del miglior progetto fra tutte le vincitrici dei Paesi partecipanti.
 
Terre de Femmes Prize, organized by Yves Rocher Foundation - Institut de France, has been supporting strong women who work to protect the environment for over 16 years. In Italy the prize  - 10 thousand euros - has reached its second edition: 53 dossiers arrived, 5 finalist projects. In December Susanna Magistretti won it with the Cascina Bollate project - Nature gets in Jail that combines solidarity and environment. Here people learn a job that will allow them to get back to society once in freedom. According to statistics, recidivism drops from 80% to 15% when prisoners learn a profession in prison.

This year the Yves Rocher foundation has decided to donate a "coup de coeur" to another particularly deserving project, BeatingSea - In the Heart of the Sea by Luana Papetti. The project combines protection of the environment and love for an animal species now to be protected, sea turtles. On March 8th to April 4th 2018 it's possible to vote online on the site of the Yves Rocher Foundation for the Audience Award which combines the winners of all the participating countries  - www.yves-rocher-fondation.org -. And on April 5th 2018 the International Grand Prix will take place in Paris with the selection of the best project among all the winners of the participating countries.
