Profumo di... Brasile!!! Con L'Occitane :)

In Brasile esiste una ninfea che può raggiungere i tre metri di diametro. Si chiama Vitoria Régia, venne scoperta nel 19° secolo all'epoca della regina Vittoria. Di giorno i fiori sono chiusi, di notte si aprono alla luna passando dal rosa al rosso.

In Brazil there is a water lily that can reach three meters in diameter. It's called Vitoria Régia, was discovered in the 19th century at the time of Queen Victoria. During the day, the flowers are closed, they open in the night under the moon going from pink to red.

Da questo fiore è nata la collezione de L'Occitane de Provence chiamata L'Occitane au Brésil, della quale vi presento tre prodotti, fatti tutti in Brasile. Flor da Noite è un'acqua di colonia leggera da un lato, calda ed evocativa dei Paesi caldi dall'altro, grazie ad un mix di lime (fresco e frizzante), abbinato a giacinto d'acqua e peonia. Flor da Noite is a light cologne on one side, warm and evocative of hot countries on the other, thanks to a mix of lime (fresh and crisp), combined with water hyacinth and peony. In the end, warm musk and sandalwood.

Molto comodo e sensuale l'olio profumato da borsetta: Jenipapo prende il nome dal caldo fiore della regione del Cerrado brasiliano. Questo profumo, che si stende con un roll on, contiene estratto di Jenipapo del Cerrado, anguria, pina colada,  frutti esotici, alleggeriti da bergamotto. E' davvero un'essenza estiva che esprime voglia di vacanze :)

Very comfortable and sensual this scented oil for handbag: Jenipapo is named after the flower of the hot region of the Brazilian Cerrado. The scent, applied with a roll-on, contains extract of Jenipapo the Cerrado, watermelon, pina colada, tropical fruit, lightened by bergamot. It's really a summer scent that shows the desire for summer holidays :)

L'essenza di Vittoria Régia, abbinata al karité, si trova nella morbida e leggera Crema mani, dalla profumazione calda e gentile. La pelle viene molto idratata, come una coccola.

Color, color, color! Dal Brasile, OPI!

Sono proprio così: coloratissimi! Questi smalti fano parte della Brazilian Collection di Opi, brand americano che fa parte del colosso della bellezza Coty. Dodici nuove nuance che vanno dalle tonalità calde della terra, all'arancio, al rosso fuoco. Non manca un delizioso verde foresta.

They are just that: Colorful! These nail polishes are part of the Brazilian Collection by Opi, an American brand of  the beauty giant Coty. Twelve new shades ranging from warm earth tones, orange, red. There's also a lovely green forest.

Ma come sono sulle unghie? Per ottenere un colore pieno e lucido, come lo vedete nelle foto, è importante usare una buona base, due passate di smalto (anche una andrebbe bene con le tonalità più forti) e un bel top coat glossy. Altrimenti si rischia si diluire l'effetto cromatico.

But how are they on the nails? To obtain a full, glossy color, as you see in the pics, it is important to use a good base, two coats (just one would be fine with stronger tones) and a nice top coat. Otherwise you risk to dilute the color effect.

Ho fatto un esperimento: usare una base bianca al posto delle classiche trasparenti, come facevano i pittori rinascimentali quando preparavano gli affreschi. Risultato incredibile: il colore esplode in tutta la sua luminosità :)

I did an experiment: I used a white base instead of the traditional transparent, like the painters when preparing Renaissance frescoes. Incredible result: The color exploded in all its brightness :)
