Guerlain, pop colours for the coming spring :)))

Happy Birthday, my lovely Météorites!!!

Perle color champagne per riflettere la luce, malva per ridurre il colorito tendente al giallo, rosa per un effetto rinfrescante. Le iconiche Météorites di Guerlain compiono 30 anni e proprio a loro la maison dedica la collezione di primavera. Oggi ancora più belle ed efficaci perché la correzione delle imperfezioni avviene grazie a tecnologie ottiche. Le perle sono nate nel 1987 dall'idea di Dominique Szabo, all'epoca Direttrice della Creazione Make-up della maison, che voleva regalare luce intensa al viso togliendo i segni della stanchezza e dello stress :)))
Champagne-colored pearls to reflect light, mauve to reduce the yellow colour, pink for a cooling effect. The iconic Météorites from Guerlain turn 30 and the maison dedicates them the spring collection. Today they are even more beautiful and effective because the correction of  the imperfections is made through optical technologies. The pearls were created in 1987 from the idea of Dominique Szabo, at that time Director of Make-up Creation of  Guerlain. She wanted to give brighter light to the face by removing the signs of fatigue and stress :)))

Guerlain and Natalia Vodianova help kids without a family

Questa collezione di makeup per il Natale ha una storia particolare. L'ha creata il volto di Guerlain, Natalia Vodianova, assieme a Olivier Echaudemaison, Creative Director del marchio francese. E parte del ricavato andrà alla Fondazione Nakedheart di Natalia. Un'onlus che vuole dare una famiglia e creare occasioni di gioco per tutti i bambini russi senza casa o senza genitori che li possano seguire. Nakedheart è nata nel 2004, dopo la strage di Beslan in Ossezia, in cui morirono 186 bambini.

La collezione gioca attorno a Shalimar, leggendaria essenza della maison Guerlain, che diventa una deliziosa polvere dorata profumata da spruzzare su capelli e pelle. Per rendere il viso luminoso, arriva una terra delicata che regala colore al viso e una penna illluminante da usare sotto gli occhi e nelle zone da mettere in evidenza.
Gli ombretti hanno un finish irididescente, molto natalizio. Ho usato l'oro chiaro come base sulla palpebra e il blu-viola per delineare gli occhi. La collezione comprende anche un delizioso eyeliner dorato, che ho invece steso sull'ombretto hiaro per renderlo ancora più iridescente. Bellissimo il rossetto KissKiss, un colore pieno e un rosso intenso dalla texture morbida e idratante.
Non poteva mancare lo scrigno con le perle Météorites, una cipria leggerissima che minimizza le imperfezioni grazie ai diversi colori presenti nelle perle e fissa il makeup :)

This makeup collection for Christmas has a special story. It was designed by Natalia Vodianova, face of Guerlain, together with Olivier Echaudemaison, Creative Director of the French brand. And part of the proceeds will go to Nakedheart Foundation, founded by Natalia. An organization that wants to create a family and gaming opportunities for all Russian homeless children or without parents. Nakedheart was born in 2004, after the Beslan massacre in Ossetia, where 186 children were killed.
 
The collection plays around Shalimar, legendary essence of Guerlain, which becomes a lovely sparkling golden powder to spray on hair and skin. A gentle bronzing powder and a light concelar in pen to apply under the eyes and in the areas to be highlighted help you get a glowing skin. The eyeshadows have a iridescent finish. I used the light gold as a base on the eyelid and the blue-purple to outline the eyes. The collection also includes a delicious golden eyeliner, which I used instead to make the iridescent eyeshadow even more sparkling. What a great KissKiss lipstick, a vivid, full color with a moisturizing texture.On top, Météorites pearls, a very light powder that minimizes imperfections thanks to the different colors present in the beads and sets the makeup :)
