MAC, how to play the role of a dark lady :)))

Un viola profondo e intenso è il colore dominante di questo makeup by MAC Cosmetics. Star, l'ombretto Spellbinder Shadow, realizzato con pigmenti molto intensi e caricati magneticamente per aderire bene alle palpebre. Prunella è invece la matita in tinta per gli occhi che ho usato anche sulle labbra per un look dark... Il rossetto, Creemsheen, è molto chiaro e molto morbido. Ecco perché ha fatto da base idratante e fissante per le labbra e come correttore delle occhiaie...  (sic!!!). Un tocco di blush sulle guance e tanto False Lashes Mascara sulle ciglia. Ed è dark lady :))))

Prunella is instead the colored eyebrow pencil I used also on the lips for a dark look... Creemsheen Lipstick is very fair and moisturizing. That's why I used it as base on the lips and as a concealer on my dark circles... (!!!) A touch of blush on the cheeks and much False Lashes Mascara on the lashes. And it's dark lady :))))

MAC me up!

Per fan e per professionisti, il negozio MAC in via Fiori Chiari 12 a Brera, nel cuore di Milano, è un angolo di colori da non perdere. C'è anche a Roma, in via del Babuino. Negli shops MAC di tutto il mondo i makeup artist effettuano una ricca serie di servizi, in parte gratuiti come Just one Look, dove si impara a valorizzare un punto forza del proprio viso, a sessioni di makeup da 30 a 90 minuti, spose comprese, dove si viene truccati e il costo del servizio, da 30 a 90 euro, è tradotto in prodotti.

Qualche giorno fa sono stata truccata (benissimo) da Antonio Fortunato, makeup artist Mac Cosmetics. Guardate un po' che meraviglia di lavoro...

Quanti rossetti rossi avete nel cassetto? Tanti, vero? E nessun colore è uguale all'altro, scommetto. Magari siete alla ricerca del rosso perfetto e non lo avete ancora trovato. Ruby Woo Retro Matte Lipstick by Mac

Avete mai desiderato avere una bocca da diva anni Trenta? Molto chic, un po' snob... Ruby Woo è ideale, il finish è totalmente mat. Attenzione che per questo motivo è poco indicato a chi ha labbra secche. Si può ovviare un un po' di crema pre-rossetto o un gloss trasparente dopo.

Avete mai visto un rossetto che resiste a caffè e pranzi, tiene morbide le labbra e si toglie con facilità? Io no, fino a poco tempo fa. Eppure esiste. Fa parte della nuova linea Mac Pro Longwear: non credevo ai miei occhi. Poi ho provato le matite, gli ombretti in polvere e in crema: stesso risultato. A quel punto ho chiesto a Michele Magnani, senior artist Mac (brand del gruppo Estée Lauder), quale fosse il segreto.

R. Le donne stanno cambiando. Un tempo era sufficiente avere uno o due pezzi e sentirsi a posto. Magari era importante tenere cipria e rossetto in borsa per un ripasso veloce del trucco. Adesso, soprattutto le nuove generazioni, amano tratteggiare bene l'occhio, si informano sui trucchi del mestiere. Si stanno alla fine avviciando al mondo dei professionisti. Anche perchè spesso restano fuori casa tutto il giorno e devono essere perfette, di qui la scelta di Mac di produrre la linea Pro Longwear. Per aiutarle.

Strong willed, un melanzana intenso

MA COM'E' LA LINEA MAC PRO LONGWEAR?

Ho usato le matite in tinta per delineare il contorno delle labbra e poi le ho sfumate all'interno preparando la base. La nuance Unlimited è un rosa ciclamino chiaro che dà colore al viso e non stona affatto anche se non si è truccate (grande pregio). La consistenza è burrosa, il finish mat.

I used coloured pencils to outline the contour of the lips and I blended them to the inner part in order to prepare the base. The nuance Unlimited is a light pink cyclamen that gives colour to the face and does not clash at all even if you don't wear make up - great value - . The texture is buttery, the finish matte.

Positiveley dashing

Più scuro, un ciclamino vero, Positively dashing. Rende importante il viso e sta bene anche alle carnagioni chiare, perchè è una sfumatura intermedia che non sbianca il volto.

Darker, a true cyclamen, Positively dashing. Goog for clear complexions, because it is an intermediate shade that does not whiten the face.

Lip pencil Trust in red, morbidissima

Ampia la gamma delle matite labbra, c'è da sbizzarrirsi. Ne ho provate diverse e sono tutte molto morbide, scriventi, si sfumano bene. E, soprattutto, long lasting.

Paint pot nella colorazione Camel coat, una bella base

Gli ombretti si dividono in due famiglie: polvere e crema (Paint Pot). Entrambe hanno un finish mat, soprattutto quelli in crema. Sono adatti sia alle neofite che alle esperte. Quali usare, allora?

The eyeshadows are divided into two families: Powder and cream -Paint Pot -. Both have a matte finish, especially those in cream. They are suitable for both neophytes and expert.

Blackground, si può usare come liner

Gli ombretti in polvere sono molto compatti e ben pigmentati, non lasciano residui. Morbidi al contatto con la pelle, sono adatti a essere sfumati e sovrapposti. Quelli scuri vanno bene come liner, ma se non si vuole ritoccare il make up la sera, suggerisco di usare la matita in tonalità.

Powder eye shadows are very compact and well pigmented. Soft to the contact with the skin, they are suitable to be blended and overlapped. Dark ones are fine as liner, but if you do not want to touch up your make up in the evening, I suggest you to use a pencil in shade.

Caldo, Rubensque

Gli ombretti in crema mantengono più a lungo la colorazione iniziale e sono più adatti ai contrasti e ai look grafici: per esempio una tonalità chiara sulla palpebra mobile e una scura usata come liner. La texture è morbida e compatta, aiuta molto a tirare con facilità le linee.

Cream eyeshadows last longer the initial coloring and are more suitable to create contrasts and graphic looks, for example a light shade on the eyelid and a dark used as a liner. The texture is soft and compact, it helps a lot to draw the lines with ease.

Tease with ease

Le matite occhi hanno il pregio di un'intensa pigmentazione e di una grande scorrevolezza. Sono davvero long lasting, ma toglierle la sera non è difficile.

The eye pencils have the advantage of an intense pigmentation and a large smoothness. They are really long-lasting, but it is not difficult to remove them in the evening.

Little black dress in mostra col make up Mac

Prabal Gurung

L'intramontabile tubino nero in mostra a Parigi. Abbinato alle proposte di make up firmate Mac, brand molto amato dai make up artist e parte del gruppo americano Estée Lauder. Fino al 22 settembre, al Mona Bismarck American center sarà possibile visitare l'esposizione Little black dress Scad museum of art a cura di André Leon Talley, membro del consiglio di amministrazione di Scad, in collaborazione con Mac Cosmetics.

Il look Mac per l'abito di Prabal Gurung

Cinquanta capi di designer internazionali sono stati esposti prima a Savannah (Georgia) allo Scad museum of art, poi sono stati portati a Parigi. Sotto la guida di Gordon Espinet, Senior vice president Makeup artistry Mac Cosmetics, sono stati disegnati make up look originali da abbinare ad una selezione di abiti in mostra.

Proenza Schouler

“Con questo capo nel guardaroba e la perfetta palette di make-up, una donna ha tutti gli strumenti per sentirsi al meglio in ogni occasione: dalla sala riunioni alla sala da ballo”, ha spiegato Espinet.

Occhi in primo piano per il vestito di Altazzurra
