A nude, winter bio-makeup look :)))

Un look nude realizzato con marchi eco-friendly, attenti agli attivi naturali.  Sulle guance, il rosa delicato di  The Balm, brand americano che non usa talco, parabeni e cruelty free.  Molto divertente il packaging, l’effetto finale è davvero naturale :)))
Sulle labbra, il rossetto extra  idratante di Pauline Youngblood, ricco di emolienti e vitamina E. Questo è un marchio americano di cosmetici minerali di qualità.  Il colore è piuttosto chiaro, per farlo risaltare ho aggiunto un top gloss.
Il balsamo labbra di Zao, invece senza petrolati e conservanti e non è testato sugli animali. Lo uso mescolato con un colore più scuro, per farlo risaltare meglio sulla mia pelle. La texture è molto morbida, protegge bene le labbra dal freddo.

A nude look made with eco- friendly brands, rich in natural actives. On the cheeks , the delicate pink of The Balm, an American brand that does not use talc, parabens and is cruelty free. Very funny the packaging, so natural the final effect is really :)))
On the lips, the extra moisturizing lipstick by Pauline Youngblood, with vitamin E. This is a US brand of high-end  mineral cosmetics . The color is quite clear, to make it stand out I added a top gloss.
The lip balm Zao contains no petrolatum and no preservatives and is not tested on animals. I use it mixed with a darker color to create a contrast with my skin . The texture is very soft , it protects the lips well from cold.

Youngblood, makeup delicato e minerale!

Mi piace molto il makeup minerale di qualità. E il brand americano Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics in particolar modo, perché i prodotti sono realizzati con minerali nella forma più pura e NON contengono parabeni, alcol, profumi artificiali, olii minerali, talco o petrolati. Attenzione: il talco può ostruire i pori, seccare la pelle e causare irritazioni. Al posto del talco, YB usa amido di riso e vitamine.

I really like high-end mineral makeup. And the American brand Youngblood Mineral Cosmetics in particular, because products are made with minerals in the purest form and do NOT contain parabens, alcohol, artificial fragrances, mineral oils, talc or petroleum. Warning: Talc can clog pores, dry skin and cause irritation. In place of talc, YB uses rice starch and vitamins.

In questo periodo ho provato alcune novità, fra cui Crème Powder Foundation, un fondotinta compatto in crema nella nuance Neutral, la prima chiara (nella foto). Mi piace l'idea che, a seconda di come viene modulato, abbia un coprenza da leggera a media. L'ho sempre steso con un pennello piatto in maniera veloce, ma si può utilizzare la spugnetta della confezione. 

I've been trying some new products including Creme Powder Foundation, a compact foundation cream in Neutral shade, the number first clear. I like the idea that, depending on how it is modulated, the coverage can be light to medium. I've always put it with a flat brush, quickly, but you can use the sponge of the pack. 

Idrata e colora e, grazie a crusca di grano integrale e alghe verdi, aiuta a lenire gli arrossamenti (anche da rosacea) e a contrastare lo stress ossidativo se si è preso troppo sole. Quando si è finito, basta comprare il refill, senza buttare la custodia :)

It hydrates and colors and, with wheat bran and green algae, helps soothe redness - rosacea even - and to counteract oxidative stress. When you finish it, just buy the refill, without throwing the case :)

Hydrating Lip Tint è una crema in stick con una protezione solare, Spf 15+. E' molto morbida, quasi liquida, idrata in profondità le labbra e dura parecchio. Può essere usata come base per il rossetto, io l'ho stesa dopo la matita labbra, fa una bella figura. Contiene olio di jojoba, argan, girasole e avocado oltre a c'era d'api.

Hydrating Lip Tint is a cream in stick with a sun protection, SPF 15+. It's very soft, almost liquid, deeply moisturizes the lips and lasts long. It can be used as a base for lipstick, I put it after the lip pencil, it makes a good impression. The balm contains jojoba oil, argan, sunflower and avocado as well as beeswax.

Il liner (ho provato il nero) ha due caratteristiche: si stende bene e dura a lungo. E' ideale per mani inesperte come le mie, è difficile sbagliare poi :) Anche se waterproof, si pulisce facilmente.

The liner  - I tried it in black - has two characteristics: It goes well and lasts a long time. Ideal for inexperienced hands like mine, it's hard to go wrong then :) Even if waterproof, you can easily clean it.

Ma come sono questi brand? Di Youngblood ho provato Crushed mineral blush loose Dusty pink e il lipstick Debalicious. Il primo è un fard in polvere davvero molto delicato che regala un colorito naturale e sano al viso. Può essere usato, come illuminante, anche su occhi e tempie. Non crea alcuna irritazione, perchè è fatto con mica e amido di riso.

But how are these two brands? Of Youngbloog I tried Crushed Mineral Blush loose in Dusty pink and the lipstick Debalicious. The first is a very delicate powder blush that gives a natural glow and a healthy face. It can be used as lighting, even on eyes and temples. Debalicious ha una consistenza cremosa e un finish mat per una lunga tenuta. Se si soffre di labbra secche, è meglio preparare la base con un buon idratante oppure aggiungere un gloss sopra il rossetto. E' un rosa confetto, adatto a chi a la pelle non troppo pallida. Contiene oli naturali, cera Candelilla e vitamina E. 

Debalicious has a creamy texture and a matte finish for a long lasting effect. If you suffer from dry lips, it is best to prepare the base with a good moisturizer or add a gloss on top of the lipstick. It's a pink shade, suitable for those with a not too pale skin. It contains natural oils, Candelilla wax and vitamin E.
 

Eye shadow Mineral touch cacao con idratanti

Zao è un marchio francese che lavora con attivi minerali, privi di talco, petrolati, conservanti. E offre prodotti sostenibili in pack ricaricabili di bamboo protetti da una graziosa pochette in cotone. Gli attivi del make up hanno anche azione benefica sulla pelle. Ho provato l'Eye shadow Mineral touch color cacao. Ha una polvere fine, che si stende molto bene (contiene attivi idratanti) e scrive davvero tanto (meglio usarne poca...). Il finish è mat.

Zao is a French brand that works with active minerals, is free of talc, petrolatum, preservatives. Finish perlato

Di Zao labbra, invece, ho usato la nuance Pearly. E' un rosa perlato, burroso, con estratto di melograno. Se si passa una crema idratante prima, il colore del rossetto si adatta a quella delle labbra rendendole luminose in maniera naturale.

Of Zao lipsticks I used the Pink pearly shade. It's buttery, with pomegranate extract. If you pass a moisturizer first, the colour of the lipstick adapts to the lips, making them light in a natural way.

Liquido o compatto? Soprattutto curativo. E' il Primer minerale creato da Pauline Youngblood a Los Angeles e oggi in vendita anche in Italia nella catena di profumerie La Gardenia. Trasparente, leggero, setoso al tatto, si stende con grande facilità. Contiene silice, olio di semi di jojoba, rodolite, zincite, malachite ed ematite, ricchi di vitamine A ed E per levigare, chiudere i pori e uniformare l'incarnato. E' adatto a tutti tipi e cromie della pelle, anche a quelle molto delicate e reattive come la mia.

In alternativa al primer liquido, si può usare Anti-shine Mattifier. Ricco di amido di mais, nigella e seme di zucca, assorbe l'eccesso di olio sulla cute e la prepara al make up. Il prodotto è in forma compatta, va passato con l'apposita spugnetta allegata. Sembra di avere un velo di seta sulla pelle. L'ho provato come primer, ha opacizzato bene il viso. In alternativa, può essere usato come  cipria a completamento del make up.

In alternative to the liquid primer, you can use Anti-shine Mattifier. Rich in starch, nigella and  pumpkin seed, it absorbs the excess oil on the skin and prepares it for your make up. The product is in a compact form, has to be put with the sponge enclosed in the box. It seems to have a silk veil on the skin. I tried it as a primer, it was gorgeous. Alternatively, it can be used as a powder to complete the make up.
