Wet or dry? The super palette by Smashbox!

Asciutto o bagnato? Direi entrambi, nello stesso makeup. Smashbox ha creato una bella palette innovativa a doppio uso, Double Exposure. E' composta da colori caldi e freddi, matte e satinati. Una volta bagnato il pennello del box, le tonalità diventano molto più intense e luccicanti. Io uso di solito i colori chiari asciutti per creare la base, quelli più scuri a formare la mezzaluna sotto le sopracciglia e poi uso bagnata una tonalità chiara per illuminare la zona vicino all'occhio e, sempre wet, una molto scura come eyeliner. Niente matita, il risultato è un po' più delicato (lo vedete in fondo al post).
Più leggera di un fondotinta, dalla texture acquosa, ma coprente a seconda di quanto prodotto si usa: é Camera Ready BB Water con un ottimo Spf 30.
Davvero divertente e facile da usare Stet-by-step Contour Stick Trio, in un'unica confezione vi sono tre matite jumbo da lavorare con le dita per il contouring. Quella più scura la adopero nell'incavo sotto lo zigomo, quella intermedia sugli zigomi come blush e sul contorno del viso. La più chiara va sotto l'occhio a formare un triangolo con la punta all'ingiù per illuminare il viso, sulla fronte fra le sopracciglia e sulla piega naso labiale :)))

Wet or dry? I would say both, in the same makeup. Smashbox has created a beautiful, innovative dual-use palette, Double Exposure. It's composed of warm and cool, matte and satin colors. Once wet the brush in the box, the tone becomes much more intense and shiny. I usually use light colors to create a dry basis, the darker ones to form the crescent under the eyebrows and then wet a light shade to illuminate the area near the eye and, always wet, a very dark eyeliner. No pencil, the result is a bit more delicate (see the pics at the bottom of the post).Lighter than a foundation, watery texture, but covering depending on how much product is used, it's Camera Ready BB Water with a good SPF 30.Really fun and easy Stet-by-step Contour Stick Trio, in one package there are three jumbo pencils to work with your fingers for contouring. I use the darker under the cheekbone, the intermediate as blush on the cheekbones and on the contour of the face. The clearest goes under the eye to form a triangle pointing downward to illuminate, on the forehead between the eyebrows and on the fold between nose and lips :)))

Do you like contouring???

Ma allora, c'è o non c'è? C'è, c'è, eccome... Quello che vedete è Step-by-Step Contour Kit di Smashbox, brand del gruppo Estée Lauder,  nato negli studi fotografici di Los Angeles. Comprende tre colori dal beige al marrone in formato polvere compatta e un utilissimo pennello per delineare le zone del viso in luce e in ombra come fanno i makeup artist con le modelle o le attrici.
Senza calcare troppo con la mano, l'effetto è molto naturale, quindi c'è, ma non è evidente come il mascherone a teatro (per fortuna :), lo vedete nelle foto in fondo al post, dove ho messo sul viso solo un velo di crema e sopra, in maniera leggera, le polveri del kit. Come usarlo? Dentro si trova un utile foglio che aiuta a capire la forma del proprio viso (la mia è a cuore) e di conseguenza come muoversi fra luce e ombre :)
Grande idea per l'estate, Primer Water, un primer SENZA SILICONI (fatto raro) che si spruzza sul viso rinfrescandolo :)))

But then, can you see it or not? Yes, you can... What you see is Step-by-Step Contour Kit by Smashbox, a brand part of the Us group Estée Lauder, which was born in the studios of Los Angeles. It includes three shades from beige to brown in compact powder and a very useful brush to outline the areas of the face in light and shadow as makeup artists do with models or actresses. 
The effect is very natural, so you can see it, but it's not as dramatic as makeup on stage :), the results on me in the photos at the bottom of the post, where I put only a layer of cream and above, in a light manner, the powders of the kit. 
How to use it? Inside there's a useful paper to help you understand the shape of your face (mine is at heart) and consequently how to move between light and shadow :) 
Great idea for the summer, Primer Water, a primer WITHOUT SILICONES (which is rare) that you spray on your face with a fresh and hydrating effect :)))

I'm wearing just a veil of moisturizing and on that a layer of the contour-kit-powders. The final effect is really natural. Thanks to my son Simone, 6 years, who wanted to take the pics of his mum :)))

A super palette from Los Angeles :)))

Non è bellissima questa super palette? E anche molto utile: contiene tutti colori base del nude e dello smokey nelle versioni mat e glitterate. Full Exposure è stata creata da Smashbox, un brand nato negli studi fotografici di Los Angeles, adesso in mano al gruppo Estee Lauder. In Italia si trova nelle profumerie La Gardenia e in alcuni selezionati punti Limoni. Le polveri scrivono bene, durano e aderiscono alla palpebra. Lo potete vedere nella mia foto in fondo al post.
Intelligente il pennellone per polveri dotato di tre scatti a seconda della coprenza che si vuole dare (io preferisco la versione leggera).
E i gloss? Morbidi e intensi :)))

Is it not a beautiful palette? And also very useful: It contains all the basic shades of nude and smokey in the mat and glitter version. Full Exposure was created by Smashbox, a brand born in photographic studios in Los Angeles, now part of the group Estee Lauder. The powders write well, they last and adhere to the eyelid. You can see it in my picture in the bottom of the post. 

A smart idea is the big brush for powders with three shots, depending on the coverage that you want to give (I prefer the light version). 

And the glosses? They're soft and intense :)))

L'aria è ancora tiepida, quasi calda, ma la natura annuncia già, con i suoi colori, l'autunno. Fra un tappeto di foglie rosse e una cascata di verdi che stanno per ingiallire voglio raccontare la storia di un marchio particolare nato negli studi fotografici di Los Angeles nel 1996 e che oggi fa parte del gruppo Estee Lauder: Smashbox.

The air is still warm, almost hot, but nature has already announced, with its colors, autumn. Between a carpet of red leaves and a cascade of greens that are going to turn yellow I want to tell the story of a brand born in 1996 in the photographic studios in Los Angeles and now part of the Estee Lauder group: Smashbox.

E' stato creato David e Dean Factor, pronipoti del grande Max Factor (il vero nome era Max Firestein, povero immigrante ebreo dalla Russia, agli inizi del '900), che hanno voluto un makeup facile da applicare e perfetto per molte ore, come se si dovesse lavorare sotto i riflettori di uno studio fotografico. E che fosse trendy, traendo ispirazione dalle passerelle.

It was created by David and Dean Factor, great-grandsons of the great Max Factor (his real name was Max Firestein, a poor Jewish immigrant from Russia, in the early' '900), who wanted a makeup easy to apply and perfect for many hours, as if you were to work under the spotlight in a photo studio. And it had to be trendy, drawing inspiration from the catwalks.

La mia impressione, dopo aver provato i prodotti di Smashbox, è che siano un grande alleato nel makeup quotidiano: creano un viso naturale, una pelle levigata e setosa, colorano molto bene senza essere mai eccessivi. E durano un'eternità, perfetti.
I primer viso (Photo Finish Foundation Primer) hanno una texture ultra liquida, bastano poche gocce per coprire il viso.  Quello bianco, classico contiene Vitamina A ed E, estratto d'uva e té verde (antiossidanti), non ha oli.
Quello rosa ha un Spf 20 che protegge dal sole (ottimo) e un complesso antirughe clinicamente testato. L'effetto levigant sulla pelle si vede.

My impression, after trying the Smashbox products, is that they are a great ally in the daily makeup since they create a natural face, smooth silky skin, color very well without being excessive. And they last a long, perfect.
The face primer (Photo Finish Foundation Primer) has a ultra liquid texture, just a few drops cover the face. The white, classic, contains vitamin A and E, grape extract and green tea (antioxidants), but not oils.
The pink one has a SPF 20 that protects from the sun (great) and a clinically proven anti-wrinkle complex. The smoothing effect on the skin is evident.

Both the primers are very liquid and silky; one is just pale rose

Mi piace molto la cipria minerale Halo Hydrating (colore Medium nella foto) che andrebbe stesa sopra il fondotinta o BB/CC. Io la uso anche da sola sopra il primer (vedete l'effetto nella foto in fondo), mi regala un effetto bonne mine.

I really like the Halo Hydrating Mineral Powder (Medium color in the picture) that should be put over the foundation or BB/CC crean. I use it even alone over the primer (you can see the result in the photo at the bottom), it gives me a healthy glow effect.

La cipria non contiene oli e talco (caso abbastanza raro) ma minerali, oro puro, aminoacidi e peptidi per un effetto antiage. La copertura è modulabile, da leggera a media. Attenzione: è finissima e molto volatile... 

It does not contain oils and talc (fairly rare case), but minerals, pure gold, amino acids and peptides as to an antiaging. The cover is flexible, light to medium. Beware, it is very fine and very volatile...

Un tocco di felicità sulle guance con Bloom di Halo Longwear Blush. Il colore è intenso, ma quando si sfuma col pennello scalda gli zigomi in maniera naturale. Contiene bacche di Goji ad azione antiossidante.

A touch of happiness on the cheeks with Halo Longwear Blush in Bloom. The color is intense, but when it fades with the brush it heats up the cheekbones in a natural way. It contain Goji berries (antioxidant).

Le ciglia vanno trattate in due momenti: prima con Layer Lash Primer, che idrata e rinforza grazie a pantenolo e pro vitamina B (bisogna però usarlo regolamente perché possa lavorare bene). E poi con il mascara (versione Full Exposure), che mi ha colpita perché non crea grumi né appiccica le ciglia (io le ho lunghe e sottili) separandole bene. Secondo me dipende dalla texture del prodotto, ha una setosità simile a quella del primer. Buono il volume che crea.

The eyelashes should be treated in two stages: First with Layer Lash Primer, which moisturizes and strengthens thanks to panthenol and pro vitamin B (but we must use it regularly to let it work well). And then with the mascara (Full Version Exposure), which strucked me because it does not create lumps or sticky lashes (I have them long and thin) separating them well. I think it depends on the texture of the product, it has a smoothness similar to that of the primer. It creates good volume.

Decisamente morbida e scrivente la matita occhi (Always Sharp Waterproof Khol Liner in Cabana), un bel verde intenso che va di moda quest'autunno. Si sfuma bene.
Morbido, nutriente, semimat, dura a lungo: è Be Legendary Lipstick nella nuance Posy Pink. Sotto ho passato una matita per le labbra in tinta. Contiene vitamine A ed E e burro di Karité :)

Definitely soft and writing the eye pencil (Always Sharp Waterproof Khol Liner in Cabana), a rich green in fashion this fall. It blends well.
Soft, nourishing, semi-matt, lasting a long time: It's Be Legendary Lipstick in the shade Pink Posy. Below I have put a lip liner in the same color. It contains vitamins A and E and shea butter :)
