L'ultima novità di ghd è l'arricciacapelli oracle, un investimento costato 5,2 milioni di sterline e 6 anni di ricerca.  L'effetto finale è la possibilità di creare ricci a 185°, la temperatura in cui i capelli possono essere modellati senza provocare danni. E quando il riccio esce dal cilindro a U, incontra una zoa fredda che lo definisce e garantisce la durata della piega a lungo.

Oracle utilizza quindi la tecnologia curl-zone, protetta da brevtto, per creare ricci in modo semplice. Il potere modellante del calore e l’effetto fissante del sistema di raffreddamento possono quindi creare assieme ricci su qualunque tipo di capello, con una sola passata.

Ghd (Good Hair Day) è un marchio del gruppo americano Coty, quotato al Nyse di New York e rilevato nel 2016 da Lion Capital LLP per 420 milioni di sterline (510 milioni di dollari).

The secrets behind the new Invati Advanced formula

Invati diventa più naturale (il 98% degli ingredienti è green), più efficace sui capelli che invecchiano in termini di spessore, forza, capacità di ricrescita. E diventa Invati Advanced, la nuova linea che sarà lanciata a febbraio, composta da tre prodotti, Exfoliating Shampoo, Thickening Conditioner e Scalp Revitalizer. Bellezzefelici ha chiesto a Cindy K. Angerhofer, Direttore Esecutivo della Ricerca botanica di Aveda, di raccontare qualche segreto negli studi fatti in questi ultimi anni sui capelli.

Qual è la differenza tra Invati e Invati Advanced in termini di prestazioni sui capelli?
 I nostri studi sulle consumatrici ci dicono che il 77% delle donne che ha utilizzato Invati preferiva Invati Advanced rispetto alla formula originale. Quest'ultima ha avuto un grande successo nell'aiutare a ottenere una buona capigliatura, quindi abbiamo mantenuto molti degli stessi ingredienti in Invati Advanced. Il nostro team ha apportato diversi miglioramenti dal punto di vista sensoriale, estetico dei prodotti in modo da renderli più piacevoli da usare e con maggiori effetti in termini di morbidezza. Abbiamo inoltre ottenuto miglioramenti sull'ispessimento istantaneo del fusto del capello per dare un aspetto immediato e una sensazione di capelli più pieni mentre si dovrà poi aspettare 8-12 settimane per vedere i massimi benefici sul cuoio capelluto e sui capelli.

I capelli sottili  e stressati delle persone giovani sono sono diversi dai capelli stressati e sottili di chi ha oltre 40 anni? Il nuovo Invati è più mirato al secondo caso?  
È vero che ci sono differenze tra i capelli giovani e radi e quelli più vecchi, ma molte di queste differenze sono solo una questione di grado. La densità dei capelli inizia a diminuire dopo i 30 anni e non si è vecchi allora! Le donne di ogni età usano spesso gli stessi trattamenti stressanti (lisciatura, permanente, schiariture) che possono danneggiare i capelli. Le donne più mature possono notare un maggiore diradamento, quelle più giovani possono trarre benefici incoraggianti dal massaggiare ingredienti come la curcuma, la liquirizia e il mandarino sul cuoio capelluto per sostenere la naturale vitalità cellulare.

Gli ingredienti naturali funzionano bene se abbinati alla ricerca biotecnologica. Su cosa è focalizzato il vostro team? Qual è la nuova frontiera nella scienza del capello?
Abbiamo molti progetti che si concentrano sulla valutazione degli ingredienti vegetali, specialmente quelli utilizzati nell'Ayurveda e ne studiano la chimica, l'attività biologica e i loro effetti sulle cellule della pelle e del cuoio capelluto. Stiamo cercando di capire la fisiologia naturale dei capelli dalla radice alla punta nelle diverse fasi della vita, in modo che possiamo imparare come utilizzare gli ingredienti naturali per proteggere, rinforzare e ripristinare i capelli nelle persone di tutte le età. Una delle aree che abbiamo studiato è il fenomeno della senescenza e cosa potremmo fare per proteggere le cellule dall'invecchiamento.

Quali cibi, abbinati ad uno stile di vita sano, possono contribuire a migliorare lo stato dei capelli? 
I capelli sani nascono sotto la superficie della pelle prima ancora che possiamo vederli, quindi è importante avere una dieta equilibrata per nutrire quelle radici. Non ho visto prove scientifiche su un singolo alimento che aiuta i capelli, ma una dieta povera può essere legata alla perdita dei capelli se mancano i nutrienti essenziali. Mi piace la pratica ayurvedica di una dieta equilibrata di proteine, carboidrati e grassi che provengono in gran parte dalle piante. Le noci sono una buona fonte di vitamine, minerali e grassi salutari, e molti dei super-alimenti sono colorate centrali elettriche antiossidanti, quindi sempre un'ottima scelta.Poiché lo stress è spesso associato alla perdita dei capelli, consiglierei uno stile di vita che include anche la meditazione e altre forme di gestione dello stress attraverso attività fisiche e mentali che ci permettono di abbandonare intenzionalmente le nostre preoccupazioni e di prenderci cura di noi stesse. Questo può portare più calma nelle ore di veglia, ma può anche favorire un sonno migliore, il tempo durante il quale i nostri corpi costruiscono e si riparano.

What's the difference between Invati and Invati Advanced in terms of performance on hair?
Our consumer studies tell us that 77% of women who used Invati preferred Invati Advanced over the original formula. The original Invati formula has been highly successful in helping our guests maintain their hair, so we kept many of the same ingredients in Invati Advanced. Our formulation team made several improvements to the aesthetics of the system, creating more body for each product that makes them more pleasurable to use, and also provides more conditioning to the hair for better performance. We have also enhanced the instant thickening of the hair shaft to give immediate look and experience of thicker, fuller hair while waiting the 8-12 weeks for maximum benefits to scalp and hair. 

Young, stressed, thin hair is different from aging, stressed, thin, hair? Is the new Invati better targeted to the second case?
It is true that there are differences between young, thinning hair and older thinning hair, but many of these differences are just a matter of degree. Hair density starts to decrease in the 30s (not old!), and women of all ages use many of the same hair treatments (straightening, perming, bleaching) that can damage hair and cause loss due to breakage. More mature women may notice greater thinning, but younger women can also derive invigorating benefits from massaging ingredients like turmeric, licorice and tangerine into their scalp to support the natural cellular vitality.

Natural ingredients work well if coupled with biotech research. What is your team focused on? What's the new frontier in the hair science?
We have many active projects that focus on evaluation of plant ingredients in our laboratories, especially those used in Ayurveda, and study their chemistry, biological activity, and their effects on cells of the skin and scalp. We are looking to understand the natural physiology of hair from root to tip, at different life stages, so we can learn how to use natural ingredients to protect, reinforce and restore hair for people of all ages and all hair types. One of the areas we have been investigating is the phenomenon of cellular senescence – a state in which aging hair cells stop growing – and what we might do to protect cells from senescence.

What kind of healthy/super food and lifestyle could help improve one's hair?
Healthy hair is born beneath the skin surface before we can even see it, so it is important to eat a healthy diet to nourish those roots. I have not seen scientific evidence for a single food helping hair, but a poor diet can be tied to hair loss if one is missing essential nutrients. I would advocate the Ayurvedic practice of a balanced diet of proteins, carbohydrates and fats that come largely from plants. Nuts are a good source of vitamins, minerals and healthy fats, and many of the popular superfoods are brightly colored antioxidant powerhouses – always a good thing.
As stress is often associated with hair loss, a beneficial lifestyle will also include meditation and other forms of stress management through physical and mental activities that allow us to intentionally let go of our worries and cares for a time. This can bring more calm to our waking hours, but may also promote better sleep, the time during which our bodies build and repair.

Klorane Peony line, when terrible insects attack hair...

Ho dovuto tagliare i capelli da poco, dopo l'attacco per nulla piacevole di terribili insetti, i pidocchi, portati a casa dal piccolo Raffaele, che ora ha 4 anni. Il trattamento per soffocarli è stato lungo, un mese, e alla fine i capelli erano sfibrati. Non solo. La schiuma applicata per combatterli mi ha lasciato la cute molto irritata.
Ecco perché ho usato nell'ultimo periodo la linea alla Peonia di Klorane, visto che questo bellissimo fiore che adoro anche per il suo profumo è usato in Asia per le proprietà calmanti. La specie Lactiflora Pall è caratterizzata da un'alta percentuale di peoniflorina, molecola le cui proprietà calmanti e anti radicali liberi sono state provate a livello scientifico. Questa peonia viene coltivata in Cina nelle province di Shaanxi e Gansi rispettando l'ecosistema e raccolta secondo un disciplinare preciso.
Devo dire che già lo shampoo da solo, che ha una texture molto delicata, funziona bene e lenisce il fastidio sulla cute. Il gel da applicare sui capelli bagnati li rende belli lucidi. E il siero in spray aiuta a rinforzare e ad allungare nel tempo la sensazione di cute fresca.
Ho tagliato i capelli anche a Raffaele... a lui molto molto corti...

I had to cut my hair short after the attack of the lice, terrible insects brought home by my little Raffaele, who is now 4 years old. The treatment to suffocate them was long, it lasted a month, and finally hair was damaged and fragile. Not only. The foam used to fight the insects left my skin very irritated. That is why I used the Peony line from Klorane, since this beautiful flower that I love so much for its perfume is also used in Asia thanks to its calming properties. The Lactiflora Pall species is characterized by a high percentage of peoniflorin, a molecule whose calming properties and free radicals have been scientifically proven.  
This peony is cultivated in China in the provinces of Shaanxi and Gansi respecting the ecosystem and collecting according to a precise discipline. I have to say that the shampoo alone, which has a very delicate texture, works well and soothes the annoyance on the skin. The gel to apply on wet hair makes them beautiful and glossy. And the serum in spray helps strengthen and lengthen the feeling of fresh skin over time. I cut hair even to Raffaele... very very short...

Capelli morbidi, leggeri, lucidi grazie al nettare dei fiori, al bamboo biologico e all'olio di maruta e di tsubaki. Framesi, collagen and hyaluronic acid on my hair :)

Collagene marino, silicio, acido ialuronico, vitamina E: non sono gli ingredienti di una crema viso, ma quelli di una linea per capelli. E' Morphosis Re-Structure di Framesi, società italiana che fa molta ricerca e ama gli attivi naturali. Ho usato shampoo (molto delicata la schiuma) e conditioner  (efficace e non appesantisce) al mare riuscendo a mantenere i capelli morbidi e setosi. Per completare, lo spray della linea By - Anti-Frizz Power Gel che districa e liscia i miei capelli ribelli lasciandoli leggeri.
Della stessa linea anche gel e cera per lo styling dalla profumazione fresca. Sono prodotti che devo ancora imparare a usare, per ora faccio prove sulle teste dei miei figli...:)))

It's Morphosis Re-Structure from Framesi, an Italian company that does a lot of research and loves natural actives. I used shampoo (a very delicate foam) and conditioner (so lovely and light) when I was at the sea to keep my hair soft and silky. To complete, the spray from the line By - Anti-Frizz Power Gel that detangles and smooths my rebel hair leaving it so light...
In the same line, gel and wax for styling with a fresh scent. Products that I still must learn how to use, I've been doing tests on the heads of my children ... :)))

A great gel in spray to use on damp frizz hair like mine... It works well :)

Tristar, a lovely set for my rebel hair :)))

Tristar, società olandese che vende in tutto il mondo,  ha realizzato un set molto interessante in cui abbina un asciugacapelli a ioni da 2200W con due livelli di temperatura e velocità e una piastra con rivestimento in ceramica. Entrambi sono maneggevoli, leggeri, pratici, si possono mettere in valigia o nella sacca della palestra. Tattica per me la piastra: dopo 30 secondi è già calda e liscia al volo i miei capelli super ribelli. Per capire la differenza guardate sotto le foto prima e dopo… :)))

Tristar, a Dutch company that sells all over the world, has created a very interesting set that combines a ion hair dryer from 2200W with two levels of temperature and speed and a straightener with ceramic plate. Both are easy to handle, lightweight, practical, you can put then in your suitcase or take to the gym. So lovely the straightener, after 30 seconds it’s already warm and can work well on my super rebel hair. Look at the pics before and after to see the result… :)))

What glossy and shiny hair!!!

Biopoint è uno dei brand italiani che preferisco. La linea Full Nutritive pare pensata per i miei capelli secchi e stressati, perché li rende molto morbidi e lucidi. Guardate in fondo al post il risultato...
Shampoo, maschera e balsamo contengono olio di tsubaki (nutre) e burro di karité (ammordisce) e crea una protezione attorno al capello. Di solito uso due prodotti su tre per volta, sono più che sufficienti :)

Biopoint is one of my favorite Italian brands. The line Full Nutritive seems designed for my dry and stressed hair, because it makes it very soft and shiny. Look the result at the bottom of the post...
Shampoo, conditioner and mask, all contain tsubaki oil, which nourishes and karité butter, that softens and creates a protection around the hair. I use two products out of three at a time, they are more than enough :)
