Sono i nuovi profumi di primavera, fra creazioni uniche che portano la firma di nasi importanti, essenze giovani ed esuberanti, acque estive leggere che sanno di mare e sabbia. Il blog non può (ancora) trasmettere l'intensità di una fragranza, ma ho cercato di ricrearla attraverso le parole. Celebrato dal Wall Street Journal, amato dal New York Times. E' davvero adorabile
Bond n°9, il brand di New York che celebra la metropoli americana con una serie di mirabili essenze ideate da
Laurice Rahmé. Come
New York Patchouli. E' un profumo caldo e fresco assieme, moderato e intrigante, di fascino ma non eccesivo. Grazie a bergamotto agrumato, acqua di rose, litchi, che avvolgono il cuore di patchouili, gigli e lillà. Il fondo abbina note classiche come ambra, sandalo e muschio ad un innovativo e fresco cedro dell'Atlante.

Lo sapete che cos'è il patchouli? Si tratta di una pianta della famiglia
della menta, parente della lavanda, del rosmarino e della salvia. Viene
da Indonesia, Malesia, Vietnam, dove è usato come afrodiasiaco. In Bond n°9 le concentrazioni di attivi sono fra le più alte
in profumeria (fra il 18 e il 22%), come si usava nel 1920 (Edp 50 ml,
280 euro, 100 ml, 368 euro, distribuito da
Intertrade Europe).
Do you know what is patchouli? It is a plant of the mint family, a relative of lavender, rosemary and sage. It comes from Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, where it is used as an aphrodisiac. Bond No. 9 concentrations of active ingredients are among the highest in perfumery (between 18 and 22%), as it was in 1920.

Com'è la foresta tropicale dopo la pioggia estiva? I profumi vengono esaltati dall'acqua che si sta asciugando sotto il sole cocente, sono pregnanti. Potete immaginare così
Eau Tropicale della francese
Sisley, dove un cuore di inebriante tuberosa, rosa turca e viola viene avvolto da un accordo iniziale di ibisco, zenzero e bergamotto, fresco e acidulo. Così il fondo, con i caldi patchouli e semi di ambretta, da un lato, il più frizzante cedro dall'altro. Ecco perché il profumo è intenso e caraibico ma non eccessivo, sembra toccato dall'aria che viene dall'oceano.
How is the tropical forest after the summer rain? The aromas are enhanced by the water that is drying in the hot sun. 1932 è costruito attorno al gelsomino, che nell'estratto è stato scaldato, intriso di burro di iris e vetiver, per poi aggiungere un accordo fresco e frizzante di pera e pompelmo.

Mademoiselle Chanel, lo indossava spesso. Qui l'assoluto di gelsomino esotico viene fatto sposare all'assoluto di rosa di maggio e rinforzato con ylang ylang e biancospino. Un accordo importante alleggerito da anice e mimosa. Sembra di indossare un cardigan comodo, è molto coccolo :)

Mi ricordo ancora quando attraversavo in velocità il centro di Padova per andare all'università a dare gli esami di letteratura tedesca. Se c'era qualcosa che rallegrava quei momenti, fra un'opera di Goethe e un dramma di Schiller, era
Eternity di
Calvin Klein. Risentire oggi la sua versione estiva,
Eternity Summer, è una grande emozione. Resta il cuore extra-caldo di peonia, ninfea, gardenia, rinfrescato da neroli e foglie di bambù, vivacizzato da mandarino, pera e agrumi. Succoso :) (Edp 100 ml, 71 euro).
I still remember when I crossed the center of Padua to go to university to take the exams of German literature. If
there was something that cheered those moments between a work of Goethe

Richiamano antiche ricette di distillati che stordiscono un po' i
sensi. Essenza appena dolce, molto intrigante. E' un eau de parfum, raro per un uomo. Molto adatto, secondo me, anche ad una donna di carattere (Edp, 50 ml, 90 euro; 100
ml, 123 euro).
Spices, wormwood, angelica root extract, pine needles, patchouli make up
this madness of absinthe, Fou D' Absinthe by L'Artisan Parfumeur. They recall ancient recipes of spirits that stun a bit the senses. Just sweet, very intriguing scent. It's an eau de parfum, rare for a man. Very suitable, in my opinion, also to a woman of character.
