Colori glossy, pieni, vibranti. Base, 1 passata (2 per un effetto super) e top coat, questa linea Opi Fiji Collection dura molto e perfetta sulle mani. E poi non sono tonalità felici???

Opi for Christmas, Breakfast at Tiffany's!!!

Colors, colors, on my hands :)))

Un giorno stavo intervistando un petroliere, ero interessata ai conti delle sue raffinerie. Invece di concentrarsi a rispondere, quest'uomo era rapito dallo smalto azzurro delle mie mani. Devo dire che avevo fatto un lavoro perfetto: base, due mani di colore, top coat. Questa volta, causa circolo vizioso lavoro-figli-lavoro-figli, il tempo di eseguire una manicure come si deve mancava. Per fortuna che gli smalti di Opi qui sotto hanno colori intensi, è bastata una sola mano. Mi piace usare il top coat anche da solo, per un effetto vedo-non-vedo...
Il giorno che ho steso i colori, la mano destra era rossa, la sinistra viola: i colleghi al lavoro mi guardavano con aria strana. Ho pensato: mica solo le fashion blogger possono ideare look diversi, no???

One day I was interviewing an oilman, I was interested in the accounts of its refineries. Instead of focusing on replying, this man was fascinated by blue nailpolish of my hands. I must admit that I had done a perfect job: Base, two coats of color, top coat. This time, due to the vicious circle work-children-work-children, the time to perform a good manicure lacked. Fortunately, Opi nail polishes have intense colors, one coat was enough. I like to use the top coat even alone, for a light effect. The day I painted the nails in the pics below, the right hand was red, the left purple: My colleagues at work looked at me with a strange air. I thought that not only fashion bloggers can show different outfits, right???

Here too: No time, just one coat. Life can be so complicated...

Drops of fuchsia nail polish on a cyclamen leaf

Gocce di smalto fucsia su una foglia di ciclamino di montagna: appartengono a Thank Glogg, It's Friday, una delle 12 nuance della nuova collezione Opi, Nordic. L'altro colore che ho provato è un oro caldo molto natalizio, Opi with a Nice Finn-ish.
Gli smalti hanno un colore saturo, sono molto densi ma facilmente stendibili, basta una sola passata. Mi raccomando di usare poco prodotto e di proteggerlo alla fine con un glossy top coat. A me sono durati due giorni prima di incrinarsi in punta, considerando che lavoro sulla tastiera 12 ore al giorno e ho figli piccoli :)

Drops of fuchsia nail polish on a mountain cyclamen leaf: They belong to Thank Glogg, It's Friday, one of the 12 shades of the new collection by Opi, Nordic. The other color I tried is a very warm golden Christmas shade, Opi with a Nice Finn-ish.  
The nail polishes have a saturated color, are very dense but easily to apply. Just once is enough. I highly recommend you use a little product and protect it at the end with a glossy top coat. It lasted two days before cracking on the top, but please notice that I work on the keyboard 12 hours a day and I have young children :)

Color, color, color! Dal Brasile, OPI!

Sono proprio così: coloratissimi! Questi smalti fano parte della Brazilian Collection di Opi, brand americano che fa parte del colosso della bellezza Coty. Dodici nuove nuance che vanno dalle tonalità calde della terra, all'arancio, al rosso fuoco. Non manca un delizioso verde foresta.

They are just that: Colorful! These nail polishes are part of the Brazilian Collection by Opi, an American brand of  the beauty giant Coty. Twelve new shades ranging from warm earth tones, orange, red. There's also a lovely green forest.

Ma come sono sulle unghie? Per ottenere un colore pieno e lucido, come lo vedete nelle foto, è importante usare una buona base, due passate di smalto (anche una andrebbe bene con le tonalità più forti) e un bel top coat glossy. Altrimenti si rischia si diluire l'effetto cromatico.

But how are they on the nails? To obtain a full, glossy color, as you see in the pics, it is important to use a good base, two coats (just one would be fine with stronger tones) and a nice top coat. Otherwise you risk to dilute the color effect.

Ho fatto un esperimento: usare una base bianca al posto delle classiche trasparenti, come facevano i pittori rinascimentali quando preparavano gli affreschi. Risultato incredibile: il colore esplode in tutta la sua luminosità :)

I did an experiment: I used a white base instead of the traditional transparent, like the painters when preparing Renaissance frescoes. Incredible result: The color exploded in all its brightness :)

Il colosso Coty, che ha un importante portafoglio di brand, da Calvin Klein a Marc Jacobs a Lancaster, ha deciso di distribuire in maniera diretta in Italia il marchio di smalti glamour Opi. A questo proposito verrà sviluppato il canale delle profumerie.

The giant Coty, which has a strong portfolio of brands ranging from Calvin Klein to Marc Jacobs and Lancaster, has decided to distribute directly in Italy the U.S. glamorous nail brand Opi. Perfumery channel will be strongly developed.
