Detox & energy with kiwi water

Golden Brazilian summer :)

Avendo la pelle chiara, uso spesso le terre compatte. Come Poudre di Clarins, che appartiene alla linea estiva Colours of Brazil. Scolpisco solo gli zigomi o passo il pennellone morbido, allegato alla terra, su tutto il volto per regalarmi un colorito gentilmente dorato.

How do you moisturize your skin after sun exposure?

Ho sempre usato il latte doposole dopo il mare per lenire ed elasticizzare la pelle. Però quest'anno sto cambiando idea, attirata moltissimo da un idratante dal saporito profumo di agrumi. Si tratta di Oleo latte dell'italiana Collistar, un mix fra latte leggero e olio nutriente arricchito di oli essenziali di fiori d'arancio e agrumi di Sicilia.

I've always used the after-sun milk after the sea to soothe and have a more elastic skin. But this year I'm changing my mind, very much attracted by a moisturizer from the tasty orange scent. It is Italy's Collistar Oleo milk, a mixture of milk and light oil enriched with nourishing essential oils of orange blossom and orange of Sicily.

Il profumo è ad aromaterapia, gradevolissimo, si stende in un attimo sulla pelle e la idrata a fondo che è una meraviglia. Contiene anche olio di jojoba e macadamia, squalene dell'olio d'oliva e vitamina E.

How do you cleanse your skin?

Quando vi togliete il trucco, che cosa usate, di solito? Acqua micellare, crema, soluzione oleosa? Avete mai provato a detergervi con uno strumento specifico? Negli ultimi giorni sto testando Visa Pure di Philips, una spazzola nata per rimuovere a fondo trucco e impurità. Ma come funziona?

When you remove your makeup, what do you use? Micellar water, detergent cream, oily solution? Have you ever used a specific tool? In the last days I've been testing Visa Pure by Philips, a brush born to thoroughly remove makeup and impurities. But how does it work?

E' uno strumento agile da impugnare, si può portare anche in vacanza. Va attaccato alla corrente per 6 ore e la carica dura 30 minuti, che corrispondono a 30 pulizie. La spazzola va bagnata bene e sopra dovete aggiungere una crema detergente (consiglio questa e non acqua micellare od olio) per rendere il più morbido possibile il contatto col viso  - avendo la pelle iper-sensibile sono molto attenta a questi particolari :)

It'a a simple tool to use, you can take it on vacation. It should be attached to the current for 6 hours and the charge lasts 30 minutes, which corresponds to 30 cleanings. The brush should be washed well and above you should put a cleansing cream (I recommend this and not micellar water or oil) to make the contact with the face as soft as possible - having a hyper-sensitive skin I'm very very attentive to these details :)

La spazzola, che ruota e vibra per asportare le impurità, va posta sul volto in tre posizioni: fronte-naso-mento, guancia sinistra, guancia destra. Ogni 20 secondi sentierete un segnale sonoro per ricordarvi che bisogna cambiare posizione.

The brush, that rotates and vibrates to remove impurities, should be placed on the face in three positions: Front-nose-chin, left cheek, right cheek. You'll hear every 20 seconds a beep to remind you that you have to change position.

Il tempo, in realtà, è più che sufficiente per detergere anche il collo e in parte la scollatura. Visa Pure, secondo me, non pulisce solo, esercita un piccolo scrub che permette di far lavorare meglio le creme notte/giorno. Usato con regolarità, rende la pelle più morbida e luminosa.
Nel kit è compresa la spazzola per pelli normali, ma si può comprare a parte quella per pelli sensibili. Attenzione: non va passato sugli occhi!

Time, in reality, is more than sufficient to cleanse also neck and part of the neckline. Visa Pure, in my opinion, not only cleans, it has a small scrub effect that allows the moisturizers work better. Used regularly, it makes the skin soft and glowing. 
The kit includes a brush for normal skin, but you can buy the one for sensitive skin. Please do not use it on the eyes!

L'estate è il periodo di cui le rose fioriscono meravigliose. E in cui anche la pelle dovrebbe rinascere (e l'umore no?).  Avendo una carnagione chiara e non potendo abbronzarmi troppo, uso dei trucchi per sembrare naturalmente dorata. La polvere è adatta alle pelli sensibili come la mia, non punge, non pizzica e rimane perfetta per lunghe ore.

A multi-tasking oil for a summer skin :)

D'estate l'angoscia principale è eliminare o ridurre la cellulite. Io ho un problema in più, la pelle secca in diverse parti del corpo, ahimé anche sui glutei. Ho scoperto questo olio bio della francese Delarom, Huile Excellence (in Italia è venduto in farmacia), che mi sta aiutando a risolvere entrambi i problemi.

In summer, the main anxiety is to eliminate or reduce cellulite. I have one more problem, dry skin in different parts of the body, even on the buttocks. I found this bio oil of the French Delarom, Huile Excellence (in Italy it is sold in pharmacies), which is helping me solve both problems.

E' strano: la texture è piuttosto densa, però con poco prodotto si copre una buona superfice. E, anche se è un olio, si assorbe subito, non lascia traccia. Penetra in profondità e rende la pelle molto morbida ed elastica. Attenua i segni della cellulite. Contiene Kalpariane, un attivo ricavato da un'alga bruna delle coste bretoni e un insieme di oli vegetali come l'olio di sesamo, di macadamia e di borragine. L'olio essenziale di eucalipo aiuta gli attivi a lavorare in profondità :)

How to get straight hair in a natural way :)

Ho i capelli mossi e sottili. Evito da sempre la piastra per paura di rovinarli. Adesso ho trovato un prodotto che mi aiuta molto a governarli e a renderli (quasi) dritti in maniera del tutto naturale: E' Smooth Infusion di Aveda, un balsamo che non penetra nel fusto ma lo protegge dall'esterno con una pellicola a base di tapioca organica e mais.

My hair is thin and vawy. I've always avoided the hair straightener for fear of damaging it. Now I have found a product that makes them (almost) straight in a natural way: It's Aveda Smooth Infusion, a balm that does not penetrate into the hair shaft, but protects it from the outside with a film made ​​of tapioca organic and corn.

How to exfoliate your skin properly :)

Saper esfoliare bene la pelle è un grande aiuto per avere un viso luminoso a tutte le età. E aiuta ad abbronzarsi bene, evitando strani colori. Però bisogna saper esfoliare corettamente. Qualche giorno fa ho commesso l'errore, per stanchezza (era notte fonda) di usare Gentle Facial Scrub di Hanorah, un brand che in Italia è distribuito in profumeria, senza aver prima bagnato la pelle :(

Knowing how to exfoliate properly the skin is a big help to have a glowing face at all ages. It helps you tan well, avoiding strange colors. But you have to know how to exfoliate properly. A few days ago I made ​​the mistake, because of tiredness (it was night), to use Hanorah Gentle Facial Scrub (a brand distributed in Italy in perfumery) on a a dry skin :(

Anche se la crema contiene granuli di jojoba, le microsfere esfolianti si sono fatte sentire un po' troppo. Ho rimediato subito con due mani di acqua sul volto e ho ricominciato da capo la pulizia. con piccoli movimenti circolari. Alla fine la pelle dava l'impressione di essersi ossigenata, aveva cambiato colore.

Although the cream contains jojoba, I felt exfoliating beads a little too much. I put immediately two hands full of water on my face and I started exfoliating again with small circular movements. At the end the skin seemed well oxygenated, had changed color.

Il doccia schiuma levigante, invece, contiene granuli di silice. L'azione è doppia: potete lavarvi sotto la doccia e nel frattempo fare uno scrub corpo. L'effetto è gentile, la profumazione appena accennata. E' un prodotto adatto anche ai maschi, secondo me.

The exfoliating shower foam contains silica granules. The action is twofold: You can wash under the shower and in the meantime make a body scrub. The effect is nice, the scent just mentioned. It's a product also suitable for men, I think.

A cream for soul warriors on a aloe leaf

Vedete questa crema nella foto? L'ha fatta produrre, con metodi naturali, un centro nel Nord Italia che promuove le arti marziali interpretate come fonte di benessere interiore. E' l'Accademia Maharishi Sathiananda. Ha sviluppato il metodo Ai-Jutsu, molto seguito, pare, dalle donne, che, a differenza del Jujitsu (l'arte di difesa dei guerrieri giapponesi, che a suo tempo ho praticato), vede l'avversario in se stesso e non nel nemico esterno.

Per essere efficace, va usata tutti i giorni con un massaggio dal basso verso l'alto (la direzione del cuore), abbinata a una dieta leggera e a moto.
