Trenta frizzanti profumi di primavera!

Freschi, frizzanti, calmi, suadenti, sexy. Sono i nuovi profumi di primavera, fra creazioni uniche che portano la firma di nasi importanti, essenze giovani ed esuberanti, acque estive leggere che sanno di mare e sabbia. Il blog non può (ancora) trasmettere l'intensità di una fragranza, ma ho cercato di ricrearla attraverso le parole. Buona lettura in compagnia di Bond n° 9, Chanel, Sisley, Prada, Ferragamo, Lancome, Calvin Klein... :)

Fresh, crisp, calm, mellow, sexy. So are the new scents of spring, between unique creations made by important noses, young and exuberant essences and summer waters with scents of sea and sand. The blog can not (yet)  convey the intensity of a fragrance, but I tried to recreate it in words. Good reading with Bond No. 9, Chanel, Sisley, Prada, YSL, Ferragamo, Lancome, Calvin Klein...

Un grande profumo. Tutti i flaconi di Bond n°9 sono a forma di stella

Celebrato dal Wall Street Journal, amato dal New York Times. E' davvero adorabile Bond n°9, il brand di New York che celebra la metropoli americana con una serie di mirabili essenze ideate da Laurice Rahmé. Come New York Patchouli. E' un profumo caldo e fresco assieme, moderato e intrigante, di fascino ma non eccesivo. Grazie a bergamotto agrumato, acqua di rose, litchi, che avvolgono il cuore di patchouili, gigli e lillà. Il fondo abbina note classiche come ambra, sandalo e muschio ad un innovativo e fresco cedro dell'Atlante.

It 'really adorable Bond No. 9, the brand from New York that celebrates the American metropolis with a series of wonderful essences designed by Laurice Rahmé. As New York Patchouli. Lo sapete che cos'è il patchouli? Si tratta di una pianta della famiglia della menta, parente della lavanda, del rosmarino e della salvia. Viene da Indonesia, Malesia, Vietnam, dove è usato come afrodiasiaco. In Bond n°9 le concentrazioni di attivi sono fra le più alte in profumeria (fra il 18 e il 22%), come si usava nel 1920 (Edp 50 ml, 280 euro, 100 ml, 368 euro, distribuito da Intertrade Europe).

Do you know what is patchouli? It is a plant of the mint family, a relative of lavender, rosemary and sage. It comes from Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, where it is used as an aphrodisiac. Bond No. 9 concentrations of active ingredients are among the highest in perfumery (between 18 and 22%), as it was in 1920.

Una goccia di Antigua sulla vostra pelle :)

Com'è la foresta tropicale dopo la pioggia estiva? I profumi vengono esaltati dall'acqua che si sta asciugando sotto il sole cocente, sono pregnanti. Potete immaginare così Eau Tropicale della francese Sisley, dove un cuore di inebriante tuberosa, rosa turca e viola viene avvolto da un accordo iniziale di ibisco, zenzero e bergamotto, fresco e acidulo. Così il fondo, con i caldi patchouli e semi di ambretta, da un lato, il più frizzante cedro dall'altro. Ecco perché il profumo è intenso e caraibico ma non eccessivo, sembra toccato dall'aria che viene dall'oceano.

How is the tropical forest after the summer rain? The aromas are enhanced by the water that is drying in the hot sun. So is the French Sisley Eau Tropical, where a heart of tuberose, Turkish rose and violet is wrapped around by fresh and sour  hibiscus, ginger and bergamot. So the bottom, with the warm patchouli and ambrette seeds, on the one hand, and the more sparkling cedar other. That's why the intense and the Caribbean scent is not excessive, it seems touched by the air that comes from the ocean.

Può un'essenza essere... metallica?

Come una piccola casa di bambole di inizio Novecento, dove tutto è al suo posto, mobili e suppellettili, ma in formato mignon, bello e incantevole: così è l'estratto di un profumo. La sua quintessenza, il cuore più puro. Che talvolta, per rappresentare in piccolo ciò che è la forma originale, deve contenere qualche variazione. Ecco come ha inteso gli estratti Jacques Polge, naso di Chanel, quando ha rifatto le sue creazioni: 1932, Beige, Jersey. Che trovo mirabili, affascinanti e molto equilibrate.

As a small dolls house of the early twentieth century, where everything is in its place, furniture and furnishings, but in miniature, beautiful and enchanting, so is the extract of a perfume. Sono essenze intense, mai fuori misura. Se lavate le mani, il loro amabile profumo si sente anche dopo sulla pelle. Non mi era mai capitato. 1932 è costruito attorno al gelsomino, che nell'estratto è stato scaldato, intriso di burro di iris e vetiver, per poi aggiungere un accordo fresco e frizzante di pera e pompelmo.

These perfumes are intense, but never overwhelming. If you wash your hands, you can still smell on the skin their sweet scent. 1932 is built around jasmine extract, iris butter and vetiver, and then sparkling pear and grapefruit.

La famiglia degli estratti di Chanel. Creazioni esclusive

Beige è l'omaggio ad un colore molto amato da Mademoiselle Chanel, lo indossava spesso. Qui l'assoluto di gelsomino esotico viene fatto sposare all'assoluto di rosa di maggio e rinforzato con ylang ylang e biancospino. Un accordo importante alleggerito da anice e mimosa. Sembra di indossare un cardigan comodo, è molto coccolo :)

Amo molto Jersey, perché Polge ha sdoganato la lavanda, una grande pianta aromatica, spesso relegata al mondo della casa. Così come Gabrielle Chanel aveva conferito dignità, per la prima volta, ad un tessuto nuovo, il jersey, rivoluzionando il mondo della moda.

La lavanda Carla

In questo estratto una lavanda particolare, chiamata Carla, viene resa rotonda da vaniglia (poca), fava tonka e muschi, che la scaldano. E arricchita con assoluto di gelsomino esotico e assoluto di rosa di maggio. Un grande profumo (1932 l'Extrait, 15 ml, 176 euro; Beige l'Extrait, 15 ml, 176 euro; Jersey l'Extrait, 15 ml, 176 euro; La collezione Les Exclusifs de Chanel si trova nelle boutique Chanel e alla Rinascente Duomo di Milano).

In this excerpt a particular lavender, called Carla, is made round thanks to vanilla (little), tonka bean and musk. And enriched with exotic jasmin absolute and May rose absolute. A great perfume.

Decisamente primaverile :)

Ricorda lo sbocciare della primavera, i colori, i profumi che si intrecciano nei prati fioriti. Florale per Candy è una fragranza che poteva  essere creata solo da Daniela Andrier, il naso che accompagna Miuccia Prada da anni.

It remembers the blossoming of spring, the colors, the scents that intertwine in the flowering meadows. Florale for Candy is a fragrance that could only be created by Daniela Andrier, nose for Miuccia Prada since a long.

Léa Seydoux, bellissima

La sua è una flora immaginaria, fatta di note cipriate e caldo miele, rappresentata dal volto di Léa Seydoux, attrice francese Palma d'Oro in La vita di Adele, testimonial della campagna pubblicitaria firmata niente meno che da Steven Meisel. E' un essenza felice e misurata, che si muove con passo leggero :) (Candy Florale 50 ml, 70 euro; 80 ml, 91 euro).

Her flora fictional, made up of powdery notes, warm honey, represented by Léa Seydoux, the French actress Palme d'Or in The Life of Adele, testimonial for the advertising campaign signed by the big Steven Meisel. It's a happy and measured essence, which moves with a light step :)

Versione couture!

La notizia è che Thierry Wasser, grande naso di Guerlain, ha rivisto La Petite robe noir, un profumo diventato oramai un classico. E, posso dirlo? Mi piace molto questa versione haute couture dell'essenza. Quasi più dell'originale.

The news is that Thierry Wasser, Guerlain's great nose, has reviewed La Petite Robe Noir, a perfume became a classic. And, may I say it? I really like this version of haute couture essence. Almost more than the original.

L'entrata in scena è grandiosa, con un bouquet floreale che trova freschezza e un pizzico di acidità nel lampone e nel bergamotto. Ma il cuore è essenza di rosa rosa, molto primaverile. La persistenza del fondo porta la firma di Guerlain, con l'immancabile fava tonka, abbinata ai sensuali muschio, patchouli, vetiver (Edp 30 ml, 59,6 euro; 50 ml, 83,4 euro; 100 ml 119,2).

The coming out on the scene is great, with a floral bouquet that finds freshness and a hint of acidity in raspberry and bergamot. But the heart is the essence of pink rose, very spring-like. The persistence of the fund is very Guerlain-style, with tonka bean combined with sensual musk, patchouli and vetiver.

Croccante e sexy :)

Pompelmo e pera in apertura, ma cuore di osmanto e patchouli abbinato a cuoio bianco nel fondo. Sophie Labbé, del colosso Iff, ha creato, per Signorina Eleganza di Ferragamo, un'essenza croccante e fresca.

Legni, unguenti, rimedi magici dell'Africa nera, il Mali. Qui il grande naso de L'Artisan Parfumeur, Bertrand Duchaufour, ha tratto l'ispirazione per il suo Timbuktu, un profumo inebriante.

Molto intenso

E' Sol de Bahia di Lancaster, firmato dalla coppia di stilisti Suzanne Clements e Inacio Ribeiro. Un'acqua calda fatta di agrumi, cocco, muschio. Sa di vacanza e di mare... Profumo di sensualità e Caraibi...

L'olio di Nuxe è famoso, oltre che per gli attivi naturali, anche per il profumo: sensuale, un po' dolce, ricorda molto le spiaggie caraibiche. Sembra di essere in vacanza tutto l'anno. Quando sono stanca e giù di morale, passo una goccia di olio sul dorso della mano e annuso paesi lontani...

The oil of Nuxe is famous not only for the natural active ingredients, but also for  the sensual, a little sweet fragrance, very reminiscent of the beaches in the Caribbean. Oggi Serge Majoullier, il naso che ha creato la fragranza per l'olio, ha realizzato anche la versione più pura, il profumo, Prodigeux le Parfum. Che riprende, grazie al bouquet di rose, gardenie e magnolie, tutta l'intensità dell'essenza, resa esotica dal fondo di coco e vaniglia. L'equilibrio viene dato dalle note di apertura molto fresche, come bergamotto e mandarino (49 euro, in farmacia e parafarmacia).

Today Serge Majoullier, nose who created the fragrance for the oil, has made even the most pure, the scent, Parfum Prodigeux. Qual è il profumo della natura durante la pioggia estiva? Il calore della terra emerge, intenso e umido (pera, olio essenziale di gelsomino, viola, bergamotto), poi reso più fresco e speziato dall'acqua piovana (neroli, gelsomino Sambac, coriandolo, cumino), traspaiono infine note boschive e legnose (ambra, cedro, muschio).

What is the scent of nature during the summer rain? The heat of the earth emerges, intense and wet (pear, essential oil of jasmine, violet, bergamot), then made it fresh and spicy by rainwater (neroli, jasmine Sambac, coriander, cumin), eventually come out woody notes (amber, cedar, musk).

E' Eau Fraiche, realizzato da Antoine Maisondieu, naso di Biotherm. Mi ricorda molto le notti estive, quando la calura del giorno pian piano si ritira... (Acqua profumata, 100 ml, 50,40 euro).

Un evergreen :)

Mi ricordo ancora quando attraversavo in velocità il centro di Padova per andare all'università a dare gli esami di letteratura tedesca. Se c'era qualcosa che rallegrava quei momenti, fra un'opera di Goethe e un dramma di Schiller, era Eternity di Calvin Klein. Risentire oggi la sua versione estiva, Eternity Summer, è una grande emozione. Resta il cuore extra-caldo di peonia, ninfea, gardenia, rinfrescato da neroli e foglie di bambù, vivacizzato da mandarino, pera e  agrumi. Succoso :) (Edp 100 ml, 71 euro).

I still remember when I crossed the center of Padua to go to university to take the exams of German literature. If there was something that cheered those moments between a work of Goethe and Schiller's play, it was Eternity by Calvin Klein. Smelling today its summer version, Eternity Summer, is a great thrill for me. There is still the extra-warm heart of peony, water lily, gardenia, refreshed by neroli, bamboo leaves, brightened with tangerine, pear and citrus.

L'anno scorso l'entrata in scena con l'eau de parfum, nel 2014 l'eau de toilette. Carven la dedica ai fiori, come peonia, fresia, glicine. Nel fondo, ambra e muschio bianco (Edt, 50 ml, 63 euro, distribuisce Beauty San).

Last year, the arrival on the scene with the eau de parfum, then eau de toilette in 2014. Carven dedicates it to flowers, such as peony, freesia, wisteria. In the end, amber and white musk.

E ora una notizia. Eau de Cartier Zest de Soleil, un'acqua profumata unisex, è andata a ruba nelle profumerie La Gardenia e Limoni, dov'era venduta in esclusiva dagli inizi di marzo: esaurite 4mile Edt in soli 15 giorni!

And now the news. Eau de Cartier Zest de Soleil, unisex scented water, was sold out in just two weeks in the perfume shops La Gardenia and Limoni, exclusive ditributors. Four thousend bottles gone in just 15 days!

PER SOLI GENTLEMEN???

Intrigante pazzia

Spezie, assenzio, estratti di radice di Angelica, aghi di pino, patchouli, compongono questa pazzia di assenzio, Fou D'Absinthe, de L'Artisan Parfumeur. Richiamano antiche ricette di distillati  che stordiscono un po' i sensi. Essenza appena dolce, molto intrigante. E' un eau de parfum, raro per un uomo. Molto adatto, secondo me, anche ad una donna di carattere (Edp, 50 ml, 90 euro; 100 ml, 123 euro).

Spices, wormwood, angelica root extract, pine needles, patchouli make up this madness of absinthe, Fou D' Absinthe by L'Artisan Parfumeur. They recall ancient recipes of spirits that stun a bit the senses. Just sweet, very intriguing scent. It's an eau de parfum, rare for a man. Very suitable, in my opinion, also to  a woman of character.

Attenti al lupo!!!

Chi avrebbe detto che è un profumo maschile? Mi ha catturato per la sua avvolgenza, il carattere forte, fermo ma non eccessivo. Mechant Loup (Attento al lupo!) è l'eau de toilette da uomo de L'Artisan Parfumeur. Apre energico e piccante (liquirizia,  spezie, legno verde, pepe, peperoncino...), ha un cuore profondo di legni e muschi verdi (nocciola fresca, legno umido, cedro, sandalo, legno di guaiaco, muschio d'albero, patchouli) e un fondo sensuale e dolce (miele, fava tonka, tabacco, cuoio, mirra, castoreum, è un estratto animale). Edt, 50 ml, 75 euro; 100 ml, 108 euro.

Who would say that is a men's fragrance ? It caught me with its enveloping, strong, firm but not excessive character. Mechant Loup (Watch out for the wolf!) is the eau de toilette for men by L'Artisan Parfumeur. It opens energetic and spicy (liquorice, spices, green wood, pepper, chili... ), has a heart of deep woods and green moss (fresh hazelnut, damp wood, cedar, sandalwood, guaiac wood, tree moss, patchouli ) and a sensual and sweet fund (honey, tonka bean, tobacco, leather, myrrh, castoreum, an animal abstract).

Brrr, che frescura...

Mandarino, menta fresca. E, nel fondo, il caldo legno di sandalo. Ecco Davidoff Cool Water Man Coral Reef Edition, un'acqua senza dubbio fresca ed estiva (Edt 125 ml, 62 euro).

Intenso!

Intenso, maschile, fresco. Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme di Chanel mi piace molto, ha una grande capacità di catturare i sensi pur restando un profumo leggero. Grazie a mandarino, menta, salvia, cipresso, abbinati a cedro, sandalo, pepe nero. Da rubare al vostro lui :) (Edt concentrée, 20 ml + 2 ricariche, 73 euro).

Intense, masculine, cool. I really love Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme by Chanel, it, has a great ability to capture the senses while remaining a light scent. With mandarin, mint, sage, cypress, combined with cedar, sandalwood, black pepper. To steal your man :)

Con crema gianduia e caffè :)

Valentino uomo è stato firmato da un naso famoso, Olivier Polge. Che ha combinato elementi classici delle essenze maschili (bergamotto, muschio, cedro) con sentori particolari, dal mirto, alla crema gianduia, al caffè. Il risultato finale è un'essenza delicata ma furbescamente attraente, piuttosto diversa nel panorama dei profumi maschili. Flacone importante (Edt 50 ml, 60 euro; 100 ml, 83 euro).

The new Valentino Man has been created by a famous nose, Olivier Polge. Who combined classic elements of the male scents (bergamot, musk, cedar) with particular ingredients such as myrtle, hazelnut cream, coffee. It's a delicate essence but cunningly attractive that you will hardly meet in the world of men's fragrances. Important bottle (Edt 50 ml, 60 euros, 100 ml, 83 euros).

Lavanda, timo, pera, ambra :)

La versione maschile di Eternity Summer di Calvin Klein è un incontro fra i freschi e pungenti lavanda, timo, basilico, ginepro, con i dolci pera e anguria. Non possono mancare i fondi sensuali di ambra, sandalo, muschi (Edt, 100 ml, 68 euro).
