Bertoni, Chief Merchandising Officer di Qvc Italia, è
stato nominato amministratore delegato della società a partire dal
primo gennaio 2014. Qvc, retailer multicanale americano (Tv e
e-commerce) parte del gruppo Liberty Interactive Corporation,
è presente in Italia dall'ottobre 2010. Nel 2012 Qvc ha registrato
un fatturato globale di 8,5 miliardi di dollari, mentre l'Italia di
87 milioni di dollari, quest'ultima con una crescita del 149% rispetto all'anno
precedente.Ottimi risultati grazie al settore beauty.

Bertoni, Chief Merchandising Officer at Qvc Italy, has been appointed
CEO from 1st January 2014. Qvc, Us multi-channel retailer -TV and
e-commerce - part of the Liberty Interactive Corporation, is present
in Italy since October 2010. In 2012 Qvc recorded a total turnover of
8.5 billion dollars, while Italy of 87 million U.S. dollars, an
increase of 149% over the previous year thanks to beauty.

Bertoni
prenderà il posto di Steve Hofmann che, dal maggio 2012,
ricopre un doppio
ruolo,
ovvero di Ceo di Qvc Italia e Qvc Europe. “L'Italia sta uscendo
dalla fase di start-up con una forte crescita del fatturato e fedeltà
dei clienti”, ha spiegato Hofmann. “Bertoni è stata una figura
chiave nel raggiungere questi eccellenti risultati e ha la giusta
esperienza
e track record per sviluppare ulteriormente la nostra azienda”.
Bertoni, in Qvc dal 1995, ha lavorato come manager negli Usa, UK e
Italia. Nel 2010 è stata una delle prime figure dirigenziali
coinvolte nel lancio della start-up del progetto Italia.

will be taking the place of Steve Hofmann who, from May 2012, has
been playing a double role, CEO of Qvc Italy and Qvc Europe.
"Italy is coming out from the the start-up period, it has a
strong revenue growth and a high customer loyalty", said Hofmann
. " Bertoni was a key figure in achieving these excellent
results and has the right experience and track record to further
develop our business”. Bertoni, in Qvc since 1995, has worked as a
manager in the U.S., UK and Italy. In 2010 he was one of the first
senior figures involved in the launch of the project Italy.
